Edward G. Hawkins, the member in Hawkins
Law Firm, L.L.C., has practiced law for
thirty years in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated
with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical
Engineering from the Georgia Institute
of Technology in 1970. After a brief stint
in the oil and gas industry as an engineer,
Mr. Hawkins began the study of law at
the University of Texas in Austin, Texas,
and continued until graduating with a
Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in 1974.
He was admitted to practice in the Alabama
State Bar in 1974. He is also admitted
to practice before the United States District
Court for the Southern District of Alabama,
the United States Courts of Appeals for
the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and the
United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Hawkins is a member of the honorary
orders of Tau Beta Pi, Phi Kappa Phi,
Phi Delta Phi.
Mr. Hawkins is a member of the American
Association of Trial Lawyers, the South
Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, the
American Bar Association, and the Alabama
Bar Association.
Mr. Hawkins is a member in the Society
of Outstanding Lawyers of America.
